Hyasept is a medical mouthwash based on hyaluronic acid – a dental optimizer!
The therapeutic ingredient in Hyasept is hyaluronic acid (Na-hyaluronat). Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of the mucous membrane of the mouth. HA has a high water binding capacity which contributes to hydration and osmotic balance of the tissue and helps to preserve the strength and elasticity. Thus, HA contributes substantially to oral health. As HA occurs naturally in the human body, HA-based products are well tolerated as well as biocompatible and biodegradable.
Among other important functions in the body, such as lubrication of joints and cell interaction, HA possess important characteristics that make its use in dentistry valuable.
